Influences on Self-Efficacy in Starting a Business

Your Entrepreneurial Self Efficacy Antecedent Score is a {survey_total_score}.

Interpreting scores:

Level of past experience supporting becoming an entrepreneur.
  • 1-3 = very low
  • 4-6 = low intention
  • 7-9 = somewhat low intention
  • 10-12 = average
  • 13-15 = somewhat high
  • 16-18 = high
  • 19-21 = very high
What does your score mean?

Your score is a rough estimate of the level of experience you have from your past that would help give you the confidence to start your own business. The questions addressed three areas of experience that have been shown to impact entrepreneurial self efficacy: vicarious learning, mastery, and social persuasion.

These questions were inspired by a more comprehensive survey, the entrepreneurial self-efficacy antecedent survey (ESEA) (Sweida et al., 2018).
