Business Encounters: Life Scientist Simulation Usability Test II-3

Participation Details

Purpose: We are testing an online interactive program that informs women life scientists about the early stages of starting a business.

Participation and Data: You would use online interactive materials for around 20 minutes and then complete a 5-10 minute survey about things like how easy it was to use or how interesting you found it.

Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time. All survey submissions are kept confidential.

Honorarium: $20 to a food bank or a $20 Amazon gift card for completion.

Who: To be included in this study, you must:

  • Be a woman who is:
    • a senior undergrad or graduate student in the life sciences, OR
    • a recent graduate (past five years) employed in life sciences, OR
    • an early entrepreneur in the life sciences.
  • Have access to a computer with an internet connection and be able to view the screen.
  • Be a US resident.

Funding: Development was funded by grant # (Grant #2 R43 GM131458-01). This project is funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. Reviewed by the Clinical Tools Institutional Review Board and determined to be exempt and expedited. IRB approval number 2020/001.

Browser Compatibility: The simulation is optimized to work in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Learn more if you would like to use Edge.

Thank you for your interest! We have reached the limit for this study but will be starting another study around April 1st. If interested, please reply to the original recruitment message or rossie@clinicaltools.com that you would like to participate in the next study and we'll send you an invitation when it's ready.
